Sessions
Record every take on the Recording Track, then drag it onto the track where it belongs: your lead vocal, a double, the hook. That way you never record on top of a track that already has vocals and effects on it, and each track keeps only the takes you want. Every template includes one.
With Lumen running the session you can stay at the microphone: say "hey Lumen, let's record" and she starts recording, then "put it on the double" once you have the take you want.
Arm a track (○), press ● to record over your mix. Drag clips to move them. If recorded takes land late, nudge the offset in the track head.
If your takes land late against the beat, raise this until they sit right.
She already knows a few hundred ways of asking for these things. Anything you say that she misses, teach her here: your words on the left, what you meant on the right. While the tape is rolling she answers only to her name, so nothing you sing can move it.
How much you hear before she drops you in. Say “punch me in” and she rolls from here; “you dropped me in late” moves it a beat and goes again.
